The National Board of Directors serves to protect good governance and the image of the ministry. It defines and protects all operations and helps guide new policy and growth strategy. The Board is tasked to examine the annual budget proposal in line with corporate mission and activities. The management team oversees the day to day operations and development of the projects. It is responsible for strategy, planning, coordination and selection of children and households.

A Ugandan born in the hills of Mt Muhabura-Kisoro District, Martin served at North Kigezi Diocese as a social worker for eight years seeing poverty and planning and praying for better ways to help children before establishing Our Father’s House Ministries.

Patience Kesande
Family Empowerment Officer
Patience directly works with individual families to help ensure their survival and spiritual & economic wellbeing. When she was a child, she was sponsored by Compassion International and later volunteered in the same ministry, so she feels blessed to be serving children experiencing what she went through.
Robert Nsabimana
Programmes Manager
Robert works in consultation with team and church leaders in the areas where OFHM children come from to liberate children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty. He visits children’s families, schools and other institutions to facilitate child development programs, planning, health programs and various other activities.
Specioza Irankunda
Project Social Worker
Specioza first worked with a non-profit organisation and later God called her to serve at OFHM. She helps to take the children’s background information to help us speak to generous people who would love to sponsor a child. “When we visit, we try to show them love, hug them, and tell them about the love of Jesus.”
“I just want to thank all our sponsors and supporters for the good work they do to help the needy children. It is most heartbreaking to visit a home and find a 10 year old child the head of the family, sleeping in a house without light, in total darkness, with no food. In most cases these children are also abused, especially the girls, it is truly devastating. God Bless You.”
