Family Empowerment Officer
Patience directly works with individual families to help ensure their survival and spiritual & economic wellbeing. When she was a child, she was sponsored by Compassion International and later volunteered in the same ministry, so she feels blessed to be serving children experiencing what she went through.
Robert works in consultation with team and church leaders in the areas where OFHM children come from to liberate children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty. He visits children’s families, schools and other institutions to facilitate child development programs, planning, health programs and various other activities.
Project Social Worker
Specioza first worked with a non-profit organisation and later God called her to serve at OFHM. She helps to take the children’s background information to help us speak to generous people who would love to sponsor a child. “When we visit, we try to show them love, hug them, and tell them about the love of Jesus.”
“I just want to thank all our sponsors and supporters for the good work they do to help the needy children. It is most heartbreaking to visit a home and find a 10 year old child the head of the family, sleeping in a house without light, in total darkness, with no food. In most cases these children are also abused, especially the girls, it is truly devastating. God Bless You.”Specioza Irankunda, Project Social Worker
Sponsor a Child
Every child is precious to God.
His desire is for each child to grow up in a safe, caring environment, blessed with an education where they can learn that they matter, they belong, and they have potential. Our Father’s House Ministries provides a sponsorship scheme to help others step in and care for vulnerable children, to be a family for them and to help them escape the suffering of poverty.
